Geography
At Caversham Park Primary School, Geography inspires children to explore the world around them and develop a curiosity about the places, people and environments that make our world unique. Through an engaging and carefully planned curriculum, children learn about their local area, the United Kingdom and the wider world, developing an understanding of different landscapes, climates, cultures and communities. They develop important geographical skills, including map reading, using atlases, interpreting information and asking questions about the world around them.
We encourage children to make connections between places, understand the impact of human activity on the environment and appreciate the importance of caring for our planet.
Our aim is to develop curious, knowledgeable and thoughtful geographers who are excited to explore the world and understand their place within it.
Our Geography Subject Leader is Mrs. N. Price.
